2027 Workshop Information

As we look forward to the 2027-2028 Promotion and Tenure cycle, the Office of the Associate Provost for Academic Administration has scheduled workshops to assist those involved in the NEW process. Each workshop has two sessions to allow for flexibility. Workshops will be held in-person in the Student Services Building, Rooms 150/160.

The Provost’s Guidelines for Promotion and Tenure Dossier Preparation (2027-2028 Review Cycle) is available.

Registration will be open starting February 16, 2027. 

  • Faculty Candidate Workshop

    This workshop is focused on providing assistance and information to faculty candidates in understanding the NEW electronic dossier (eDossier) development procedure, including specific information, and to familiarize them with the University-wide Promotion and Tenure review process. Attendance is strongly encouraged for those putting forward a dossier in the 2027-2028 cycle.

    The sessions are scheduled for:

    • Tuesday, March 16 - 9:00-10:30am
    • Wednesday, March 17 - 1:00pm-2:30pm
  • Dean, Director, and Committee Chair Workshop

    This workshop is focused on providing assistance and information to deans, directors, and committee chairs regarding their responsibilities in the promotion and tenure process and general guidance on the NEW eDossier process.

    The sessions are scheduled for:

    • Tuesday, March 16 - 11:00am-12:30pm
    • Wednesday, March 17 - 3:00pm-4:30pm
  • e-Dossier Coordinator Workshop

    This workshop is focused on providing assistance and information to the school and college-level coordinators on the NEW eDossier process, including Sharepoint overview. These sessions are open to coordinators, faculty, and administrators involved in the eDossier process.

    The session is scheduled for:

    • Tuesday, March 16 - 1:00pm-2:30pm
